We’re Hiring: Online Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist (with a Love for Lifting)

Sprinkle of Sass

Move Your Bones is growing, and we’re looking for a unicorn.

Not the pastel, glitter kind. The kind who knows how to program a rehab plan and a 5x5 squat cycle. The kind who can handle a client saying “my vagina feels weird when I lift” and not flinch.

You’ll start part-time with a 1:1 coaching roster, but we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow into a full-time role as we build your client list!

If you're seeking a standard online coaching role with average expectations, this position isn't for you.

Here at MYB, we uphold a higher standard.

Who We Are

We’re not your average group of physical therapists — and thank God for that.

Move Your Bones is an online rehab + performance coaching company helping people get strong, stay pain-free, and actually understand their bodies. We’re run by Dr. Susie Spirlock (that’s me 👋), and we work with clients navigating pain, lifting, running, pelvic health, hypermobility, and every glorious shift life throws at them.

We coach with depth, energy, and a little attitude.

We joke around. We curse (tastefully). We believe people aren’t fragile.

We view challenges as opportunities to demonstrate our resilience and problem-solving abilities for the growth of ourselves and our clients.

We also believe foam rolling your IT band should be a punishable offense.

We’re tight-knit, wildly nerdy, and committed to changing how people rehab and train.

We believe in load, language, and laughter.

We care about getting results, but we also care about boundaries, dogs, and eating enough protein.

We don’t half-ass anything around here. Every member of this team is obsessed with delivering high-quality, thoughtful care, and we hold each other to that standard. Not in a “perfection or panic” kind of way, but in a “we give a damn and it shows” kind of way. If that level of excellence fires you up (instead of freaking you out), you’ll fit right in.

This Might Be You If…

  • You’re a licensed DPT with strong pelvic floor expertise

  • You have a thing for strength training, movement, programming, and performance

  • You can coach someone through a return-to-running protocol and a return-to-lifting one

  • You believe strength training is rehab

  • You’d never call someone “broken,” “unstable,” or “out of alignment”

  • You secretly love nerding out on pain science and coaching cues

  • You’re low-key obsessed with your Google Calendar but high-key flexible when clients need you

  • You want to be part of a growing team that prioritizes excellence and fun vibes

Bonus Points If You’ve Got…

  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist or strength coaching background

  • Barbell Rehab Method Certification (or are open to getting it)

  • Experience with hypermobility, postpartum performance, endurance athletes, & lifters

  • A meme folder on your phone and a soft spot for dogs (especially mine— Winnie is our HBIC)

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Delivering 1:1 virtual rehab & fitness coaching. Think: lifting, running, core, and pelvic health

  • Walking through a movement assessment to get a solid baseline on new clients because we don’t guess, we assess.

  • Programming inside our app based on goals, needs, and movement patterns— not cookie-cutter crap

  • Messaging clients for support, education, and occasional pep talks

  • Reviewing videos, giving form feedback, and making people feel seen as hell

  • Leading impactful coaching calls that drive meaningful transformation

  • Meeting performance metrics that reflect your commitment to excellence

  • Collaborating with our team on complex clients, strategy, and how to keep changing the damn game

The Logistics

  • Location: Fully Remote

  • Start Date: ASAP-ish (sooner is better, but we’ll wait for the right unicorn!)

  • Hours: Part-time to start (5+ clients), with growth to full-time expected

  • Pay: Percent of coaching revenue + retention & referral bonuses

  • Schedule: Flexible, as long as clients are taken care of (we’re not micro-managers)

  • Benefits: Investment in your professional development, quarterly bonuses based on performance, reimbursement for license-related expenses

  • Mentorship: Team development sessions and one-on-one mentorship

You're Right For This Role If…

  • You have vast experience in pelvic floor & are also comfortable treating any orthopedic conditions

  • You can explain pressure management without sounding like a textbook

  • You can modify a trap bar deadlift for someone who pees when they sneeze and has SI joint pain

  • You know the difference between load intolerance and movement variability

  • You realize quick response times to client messages is key to success

  • You can tell someone they need more rest days or heavier weights without sounding judgy

  • You go above and beyond for clients, even when it’s difficult

  • You have an in-depth understanding of programming principles for both rehab & performance

  • You can talk about prolapse or poop with zero weirdness

This Role Is Not For You If…

  • You’re still scared of lifting over 50lbs (or don’t lift weights yourself)

  • You plan to use AI tools like ChatGPT to write your client’s program (we have a 0 tolerance policy for this)

  • You need a highly structured environment to thrive

  • You see this as a casual stepping stone to something else

  • You’re uncomfortable working with women’s health, trauma, or gender-affirming care

  • You think “just walk or lift more” is the answer to most things

  • You struggle to adapt quickly to new information or feedback

  • You don’t believe in virtual care (this is not the job to try it out for the first time)

  • You’re looking to coast— we’re here to build something

How We Choose Our People

Phase 1: Value Alignment

We don’t do endless interview rounds for fun. If you’re the right fit, it’ll shine through in the online application, and our team will be hyped to meet you!

Phase 2: Skills Demonstration

You’ll get your hands dirty with real-world coaching scenarios, including:

  • Reviewing client profiles to show us you can actually think through complex humans (not just copy/paste a template)

  • Responding to multiple client check-ins—some with support, some solo — so we can see how you coach, adapt, and communicate

  • Video communication exercises to make sure you’re not just smart, but also clear, confident, and not afraid to talk about butts on camera

Phase 3: Video Chats

You’ll hop on a call with the MYB team to talk expectations, standards, and how you show up like a pro— consistently, not just when the stars align. We’ll also get a feel for each other’s energy, communication style, and whether you’d vibe in our weird, wonderful little corner of the internet.

If you're ready to change the damn game with us, apply below.

Still unsure? Slide into our inbox at susie@moveyourbonespt.com. Please do NOT DM me on IG @dr.susie.squats — your message will get lost. I won’t bite. But I will ask if you’re still foam rolling your IT band. (Don’t.)
